Julia have been involved in the past few years with research projects concerning structural mechanics. At Federal University of Juiz de Fora, she dealt with fractal structures at the Department of Structures and with structural optimization of steel frames at the Department of Applied and Computational Mechanics. Júlia is currently a PhD student in “Risk and Sustainability in Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering Systems” at the University of Salerno, where she carries out scientific research on the design of innovative green and solar facades based on tensegrity structures.
